It operates within the 900MHz frequency range and has the capability to automatically search for these two bands. Additionally, the frequency bands can be configured using AT Commands. The baud rate can be adjusted within the range of 1200-115200 through AT commands as well. This ultra-compact wireless module features an interface that facilitates connections with both PCs and microcontrollers through the RS232 Chip (MAX232).Designed for M2M applications, the SIM900A Modem is ideal for SMS, voice, and data transfer purposes. Its onboard regulated power supply accommodates a wide range of unregulated power sources.
