Description
It's a Fairchild KA3842B DIP-8 SMPS Controller. It's a fixed frequency current-mode PWM controller. It is designed for Off-Line and DC-to-DC converter applications. It features a trimmed oscillator for precise duty cycle control, a temperature-compensated reference, a high gain error amplifier, and current sensing comparator.
