E3D wear-resistant 0.50 mm nozzle made of hardened steel for 1.75 mm filament. Compatible with E3D v6 kits and to be used for filament filled with carbon fibre or other abrasive materials.

If you 3D print with carbon fibre, filled PLA, or glow-in-the-dark filament, then this is the nozzle you need! Carbon-filled filaments cause rapid and significant damage to standard nozzles.

01.Benefits

Paying a little extra for a hardened, wear-resistant nozzle makes both practical and economic sense. By the time you'veÂ printed a single spool of abrasive filament, you'reÂ saving money. It also saves a lot of time as you wont be constantly replacing worn out nozzles. And you'llÂ be future-proofed for upcoming materials; we think these nozzles should be able to handle just about anything our material manufacturers think of next.

02.Appearance

Because of the thermal and chemical treatment applied to the nozzle, they do have a bit of a dark, sometimes uneven looking colouration and surface finish, and there can be a small amount of residue on the nozzles despite our final cleaning process. The colouration variance is normal and doesn'tÂ affect function. Any residue left on the nozzle will quickly be flushed in the first few millimetersÂ of extrusion, especially if you flush it out with an abrasive-filled material!

02.Identification

All nozzles in the series are now individually identifiable with markings on the flats of the hex head making them even more convenient to work with. See the table on the left for identification.

Hardened abrasion-resistant nozzles developed to last a lifetime. 3D printing with abrasives such as carbon fibre, glow-in-the-dark PLA or even filled filaments like woodfill all takes their toll on a standard nozzle. These nozzles are fully integrated into the E3D Ecosystem and will fit V6, Lite6, and Titan Aero HotEnds, and are compatible with Prusa 3D printers.
